Obituary
Anna Christine Petersen was born on February 10. 1899, to Ole and Sine Andersen in Drammen Township, Minnesota. Here she attended rural school and grew to womanhood.

On December 1, 1926, she was united in marriage to Peter D. Petersen at Tyler Minnesota. The couple made their home in Brookings, South Dakota, for one year before moving onto a farm in Shaokatan Township, Minnesota, in 1927. Following Peter's death in 1944, Anna's sister, Ellen, moved on to the farm with her and they continued living there until 1952 when they moved into Tyler. For the last seven years, Anna and Ellen have lived in the Danebod Village Apartments.

Anna passed from this life on August 15, 1982 at the A. L. Waldheim Memorial Hospital in Tyler. She had attained the age of 83 years, 6 months and 5 days.

Rev. Dean Finke officiated the funeral services held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 18 at Danebod Lutheran Church.

Music was provided by Mrs. C. Arnold Buhl, organist, and soloist. Mrs. Myron Bornhoft who sang "Beautiful Savior". The congregation san the hymns, "Abide With Me" and "How Great Thou Art"
Pallbearers were LaWayne Petersen, Steven Petersen, Brian Petersen, Lance Petersen, Dale Petersen and Loren Petersen.

Interment was in Diamond Lake Cemetery. Arrangements were made by Robert Hansen, director of Utoft-Johansen Funeral Home.

Anna will be lovingly remembered by her three sons, Darrell, Ivanhoe MN, Larry, Skyler, NE, and Eldon, Plymouth, MN; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen Andersen, Tyler, MN, and Mrs. Marie Nielsen, Ramona, CA; one brother; Hans Andersen, Lake Oswego, OR, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers, Jens and Andrew, and one grandchild.
