Services for DUANE L. FRENCH, 39, 3240 Fremont Av. S., who died Thursday of injuries received in an automobile accident, will be 1:30 p.m. Monday in Werness Brothers Mortuary, 3700 Nicollet Av., with burial in Lakewood Cemetery.
Mr. French was born in Grafton, N.D., and lived in Minneapolis 20 years. He was a World War II veteran and was a cook at the Chef Cafe. He was a member of the Hotel and Restaurant Workers' Union.
Survivors include his widow, Alma C.; sister, Mrs. Roger H. Pierce; brother, Curtis R.; and mother, Mrs. R. J. French, all of Minneapolis.
