ALDERSON - Arthur Chester Parker, 85, of Alderson died July 20, 1999, in Greenbrier Manor, Fairlea, after a short illness.
He was a farmer, a lifelong resident of Alderson and a Baptist.
Surviving: brothers, Millard "Bill" Parker and Richard "Emil" Parker, both of Alderson; sister, Pansy Drumheller; several nieces and nephews.
Service will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Lobban Funeral Home, Alderson, with the Rev. James B. Johnson officiating.
Burial will be in Alderson Cemetery.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to a church of choice.
