-- Mrs. Annie L. Jones, 87, of Adel, passed away Sept. 4, 2008 at Tift Regional Medical Center. She was born Feb. 11, 1921 in Nashville to the late William Arthur and Roda Melissa Bennett Lipsey. She had lived in Cook County for the past 20 years, was a homemaker and a memober of Adel United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Edgar Jones.
-- Survivors include a son, William E. Jones of Adel; four grandchildren, Jeremy Jones, Matthew Jones, Lisa Carr and Rebecka Jones; and four great-grandchildren.
-- Graveside services were heled Sept. 6 at 11 a.m. at Campground Cemetery, Brooks County, with Rev. Jimmy Sharp officiating. Pallbearers were Bill Roets, Jeremy Jones, Matthew Jones, and David Carr. Boone-Lipsey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
