HOBART Funeral for Velma Geimausaddle, 80, Hobart, will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at First American Baptist Church, Hobart, with the Rev. Willie Jack Doyeto, the Rev. Franklin Kauahquo and the Rev. Wilfred Brown officiating.

Wake service will be at 6 pm. Friday at the church.

Mrs. Geimausaddle died Wednesday, Oct. 8, 2008.

Burial will be in Elk Creek Kiowa Tribal Cemetery, Hobart, under direction of Ray and Martha's Funeral Home.

She was born April 8, 1928, in Carnegie, to Moses and Lauretta Chaddlekaungky Toppah. She grew up in Carnegie and married Howard Coley Geimausaddle. He died in 1993. She lived in Hobart most of her life and was a member of First American Baptist Church.

Survivors include her eight children and their spouses: Lauren and James Boyd, Karen and Floyd Purley, Gwen Geimausaddle, Howard Coley Geimausaddle III, Gordon L. Geimausaddle, and Kathy McCullar, all of Hobart; Darla Geimausaddle, Denver; and Roberta Blocker and William Pete, Hobart; a stepson, Terrance Geimausaddle, Walters; adopted daughters: Mary Chapa, Denver; Sophia Perez, Hobart; and Lynda Taptto, Albuquerque, N.M.; nine grandchildren: Robert Coley, Jon D. and Jordon Boyd, Howard and Loree McCullar, Charles and Coley Blocker, and Katelyn and Colton Cummings; 10 great-grandchildren: Jonathan and Kristel Boyd, Koley Michelle, Kyler and Peyton Boyd, Jonas and Silas Barela, Alijiah McCullar, Arriana Blocker, and Channing Davis; and step grandchildren: Cody and Evelyn Rose Geimausaddle.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Baby Girl Geimauable; and 5 brothers: Morris Toppah, Samuel C. T., Herbert J. T., Frank C. Toppahm and Murphy Toppah.
