Former Teacher - Mrs. Adams Of Acampo Is Taken
Mrs. Elizabeth McKindley Adams, prominent Lodi district resident, and former school principal, passed away at the family home in Acampo yesterday evening. A native of Sutter Creek, Mrs. Adams was 64 years of age. Mrs. Adams was the wife of Guy Adams, prominent district vineyardist, and the sister of Mrs. H. D. Agnew of Fresno, Mrs. Sarah Smithson of San Jose, Mrs. A. B. Holt of Acampo, and Mrs. R. E. Story of Vallejo. For the past 39 years Mrs. Adams has made her home in the Acampo district. For many years she had been employed in the teaching profession and had served as principal of Emerson School in Lodi and as principal of Henderson School before going to the Lafayette School. Mrs. Adams was a past matron of the Woodbridge chapter, Order of Eastern Star. Funeral arrangements are pending at Wells Funeral Home and announcement will be made later.

Christian Science services will be read for Mrs. Elizabeth Adams this afternoon at 2:00 o'clock in the Chapel of the Wells Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Lodi Cemetery.
