Elevi Vigil, 78 of Taos passed away on September 29, 2008 after a life well lived. He is preceded in death by his wife, Viola Vigil, son, Levi Vigil Jr., daughter, Mary Rose Vigil, parents, Max and Rumaldita Vigil, sisters, Nila Vigil and Rosalia Herrera and brother, Waldo Vigil. He is survived his children, Luis Vigil (Christine), Roger Vigil, Stella Vigil, Yolanda Vigil (Yolando) and Johnny Vigil (Joyce), special niece, Rosie Herrera, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, sister, Sebastiana Vigil and many other relatives and friends.

A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, October 1, 2008 at 7 PM at Rivera Chapel. Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, October 2, 2008 at 10 AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Church. Interment will be held at the Cerro Cemetery.
