Ruby Shockley, 86, of Benton died Tuesday evening, May 17, 2011, in Metropolis Health Care Center.
She was born in Benton on June 6, 1924, the daughter of Claude and Dora West.
She married Henry David Shockley, who preceded her in death on Dec. 2, 1987.
Mrs. Shockley was a member of the New Life Church of God.
She is survived by her son, David Shockley and wife, Kay, eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great great-grandchildren.
Her parents, husband and a son Don Shockley preceded Mrs. Shockley in death.
