Services for James McClure Marcum, 82, former Indianapolis resident, were held yesterday at Palmetto, Fla. He died Tuesday in his home.
He was an insurance agent for Prudential Life Insurance Company until 1957, when he retired and moved to Palmetto.
He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Palmetto, Miller Masonic Lodge 268, Murat Shrine and Scottish Rite.
Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Lois M. Marcum; a son, James H. Marcum of Indianapolis; two daughters, Mrs. Rosemary Zerr of Anderson and Mrs. Betty R. Slaughter of Indianapolis, and 14 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
