John Henry Shoemaker was the infant son of Richard Cornelius Shoemaker (Sr.) & Cornie Dew Batten Shoemaker. Richard & Cornie Shoemaker also had two other children, Richard C. Shoemaker, Jr & Doris Louise Shoemaker. John Henry Shoemaker is buried beside 1st cousin Lena Mae Batton (Batten)who also died as a child, in the Batton family plot, where his parents, grandparents & two aunts are also interred.
