Clinton--Mary "Sam" Wilkinson, 87, a retired clerical worker, died of heart failure Wednesday at Sharkey-Issaquena Community Hospital in Rolling Fork.
Services are 1 p.m. today at Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home with burial in Shiloh Cemetery in Yazoo County. Mrs. Wilkinson, a Yazoo County native, was a member of Southside Baptist Church. She had lived in Clinton 16 years and was a retired clerical worker for the State Health Department in Greenwood. She was the widow of Prentiss Winfred Wilkinson.
Survivors include; daughter, Betty Ancheta of Clinton; son, Winfred Wilkinson of Rolling Fork; and five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
