She was born in Hartford on October 1, 1924, daughter of the late Charles Duhaime and Alma Braun. Jeanette was married to the late Frederick Connolly and resided on Bolton Street in Manchester for nearly 50 years. She worked as a Market Research Specialist for a variety of companies and as a Customer Service Representative at Sears for 17 years.
She is survived by her three children and their families: Patricia and William Smith of Canton, and their son Matthew and his wife Leah; Frederick and Madeleine Connolly of Pomfret, and their children Harmonie, Ian and Devon; Jean and Coleman O'Toole of Rocky Hill, and their children Coleman, Timothy and Megan. She is also survived by her sister Arline Collins of Vernon, and was predeceased by her brother Armand Duhaime and her sisters Lucille Butterworth and Eleanor Duhaime. She also leaves many nieces and nephews. Jeanette lived for her children and loved her family very much. She lived with great courage, good humor and a warm heart. All that know her will miss her bright smile and engaging personality.
The Funeral procession will be on Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at 9 a.m. from the Sheehan-Hilborn-Breen Funeral Home, 1084 New Britain Avenue, West Hartford followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Mary's Church, Newington.
Burial will be in Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday from 4-7 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
