Funeral services for Wilma Lee Atkinson, 83, of Longview, formerly of Amarillo, will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, September 13, 2008, at the chapel of First Christian Church of Amarillo, with the Reverend Marvin James and the Reverend David Everton officiating. Interment will follow in Llano Cemetery. Rader Funeral Home of Longview is in charge of local arrangements.
Mrs. Atkinson died Wednesday, September 10, 2008, at a medical center in Longview.
Mrs. Atkinson was born December 12, 1924, in Amarillo, to Otis and Jenny Priest. She had worked for the Potter County District Clerk's office for 10 years, where she was a deputy district clerk. She was also a member of the First Christian Church of Amarillo.
Mrs. Atkinson was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Jack C. Atkinson.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff Atkinson and wife, Karen of Longview, and Brad Atkinson of Dallas; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and a sister, Jane Moore of Kingsland.
