MRS. JOSIAH ASHLEY
Another pioneer passed out of this life Monday evening about 5:30 when the hand of death descended upon Mrs. Josiah Ashley, who had been in poor health for a long time. Deceased had reached the ripe age of 76 years and 7 days, having been born in Saxony, Germany, March 10, 1837. Deceased is survived by a husband, and six daughters, also by a score or more of grandchildren and other relatives. Funeral services will be conducted from the family residence, this Thursday morning at 10 o'clock, in charge of Rev. Clements of the M. E. church and interment will be made in the old cemetery.
