Benny M. Blea, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, August 20, 2008, in Tucumcari, NM, following an extended illness.
�Benny Blea was born April 26, 1926, at Estancia, NM.� He had�been a long time Tucumcari, NM, resident.�He was a member of the St. Anne's Catholic Church in Tucumcari.� He served his country in the United States Army. He had been a member of the Tucumcari Pioneer�Senior Citizens.
�Surviving Benny Blea is his sister, Flora Herndon of Kansas City, MO. Also surviving him is his friend and neighbor, Dora Maes.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Phyllis Jean Vance
Blea on June 12, 2001.�
�Rosary will be recited Sunday night at 7:00 PM in the St. Anne's Catholic Church.� Mass of the Resurrection will be offered on Monday morning at 10:00 AM in the St. Anne's Catholic Church with Rev Father Leo Padget as celebrant.� Following services, interment will take place in the Tucumcari Memorial Park Cemetery.
