BRIGGS: William 1st, Jan 3, 1728, in 83d y
Vital Records of Taunton, MA to 1850 - Deaths

I'm being picky but William's birth took place when Taunton was part of Plymouth Colony, not Massachusetts. And, there were no counties until 1685. (For reference: Taunton founded 1637, Massachusetts founded Feb 6, 1788, Plymouth Colony 1620-1691 - Joan (Barber) Pringle #50351811)

PLACE: 1685 - Plymouth Colony created its first counties in 1685, and remained an independent Colony until 1692, when it was disbanded. It's territory then became part of Massachusetts Colony.
