PATRICIA L. LEACH, 65, of Florida, and formerly of MONMOUTH COUNTY, passed away on Friday, August, 15, ending her battle with cancer. Born in Newark, the daughter of the late Raymond and Clarice Haug, she was raised in Monmouth County, and was a graduate of Keyport High School. She was employed as a postal worker in both New Jersey and Florida, retiring in 2003 after 23 years of service. Mrs. Leach was a member of the Church of the Advent, and had been a member in the church's Daughter of the Knights in Dunellon, Fla.

She is survived by her husband, James Leach; her two sons, Larry and his wife, Gail Maag, Brian Maag and her step-son, Bryan Leach and his wife, Jessica; her daughter, Lora and her husband, Ron Gruber; and her sister, Karen and her husband, Ernie Thomas, and their family. She also leaves five grandchildren, Matthew Maag, Michael Maag, Joshua Maag, Jason Gruber and Emily Gruber.

Visitation will take place from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Bedle Funeral Home, 61 Broad St., Keyport. A service will take place 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Green Grove Cemetery, Keyport. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the Church of the Advent, 11251 South West Rt. 484, Dunellon, FL 34432.
