Mrs. Ruth Sterling, wife of Hiram Sterling, of Swenoda, died about midnight Thursday night aged sixty-five years. She went to bed in her usual health and was seized with an attack of heart failure and before her physician, Dr. Montgomery, of Buckhorn, who was at once summoned, could get to her bedside she had expired.
Mrs. S. was a consistent Christian woman, a faithful wife, a devoted mother, and a kind neighbor who will be sadly missed by a large circle of relatives and friends. She leaves a family of six children, all adults.
Funeral services were held Tuesday morning at ten o'clock at the Swenoda Church, Rev. Hemingway officiating. Interment was made in the Swenoda cemetery.
