"CENTENARIAN"

My great uncle Harold lived a long life. He lived to be over 101 years old and lived during 3 different centuries! Imagine the changes he saw during his lifetime. Two world wars, the new modes of transportation, automobiles and planes, and then a man on the moon!

Since he lived at a distance from us, we saw him only infrequently. He outlived his entire immediate family.

Printed in the Van Wert Daily Bulletin (Van Wert, Ohio) on June 10, 1933, was the notice that Harold A. Baehler of Convoy, Ohio, and Ethel Smalley of Ohio City, had obtained a license to wed.

Rest in peace Uncle Harold.
