Dessie Margaret(Cox)McKinney was born to Charles Plummer Cox and Nannie Senter Cox on July 27th,1917 in Morristown,Tennessee.She died on Sept. 11,1963.
Funeral services for Mrs.Dessie Margaret(Cox)Mckinney,46. 725 W. 14th St. will be conducted at 2p.m. on Friday at 911 So. Washington St. Marion,Indiana,by Milo Bowsman,pastor of the Hillside Weslyan Methodist Church.Burial will be in the I.O.O.F. cemetery.
Mrs McKinney died at 3 a.m.Wednesday at her home.She had been ill for eight years.She came to the area in 1938 and formerly worked at the Guide Lamp in Anderson,Indiana.She was a member of the Baptist Church of Alpha,Tennessee.
Survivors include her husband,Floyd Estle,Her father Charles Plummer Cox,Morristown,Tennessee;two daughters Mrs. Mary(Burr)Nelson and Mrs. Martha June(Jerry)Bilbee,both of Marion,Indiana.Five grandchildren;Teresa and Kimberly Nelson;Floyd,Jeri Lee,and
Troy Bilbee,all of Marion,Indiana.Five brothers,Hugh,Hal,Carroll,Frank and Charles,all of Morristown,Tennessee;and four sisters,Mrs(Kate) Wayne Guinn,Marion,Indiana;Mrs.Fred(Nellie)Fox,Morristown,Tennessee;Mrs June Watts,Detroit,Michigan and Mary Spoon,Elwood,Indiana.
