RUSHVILLE — Eugene Lee, 72, R.R. 5, Rushville, died Thursday, Oct. 21, 1993, at his residence.

Born in Rush County, April 13, 1921, he was the son of Everett and Edith Winkler Lee, both of whom preceded him in death. He married the former Norma J. Moore on Oct. 15, 1965, and she survives.

Living in the Rushville area most of his life, he was a self-employed trucker. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, a member of the VFW and past post commander of American Legion Post 150 in Rushville. He was a member of the Sexton Christian Church.

Besides his wife, survivors include five sons. Jerry B. Lee of Greensburg, Charles E., Kevin J., Brian and Mark, all of Rushville; three daughters, Sharon Jo of Sadieville, Ky., Mrs. James (Elizabeth) Crain and Kelly Elizabeth Lee, both of Rushville; four brothers, Marshall, Lewis, and Robert Lee, all of Rushville, and Larry Lee of Oakville; four sisters, Mrs. Orville (Marjorie) Dickson and Mildred Whittaker, both of Rushville. Juanita Cleland of Manilla, and Mrs. Ted (Betty) Eveland of Milroy; several grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one infant son.

Funeral services will be Monday at 10 a.m. at Moster and Cox Mortuary in Rushville with the Rev. Steven P. Grant officiating. Burial will be in the Rushville East Hill Cemetery with graveside military services being conducted. Friends may call Sunday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the mortuary.
