Mary Lee Spurr Lambert, 80, of Bedford, Ky., died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2004, at her residence.
She was born Feb. 15, 1924, in Trimble County, Ky., the daughter of William David and Eula Burch Spurr. She was a self-employed beautician and a member of the Antioch Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Darlene West Taylor of Port Royal, Ky.; two brothers, David "Pete" Spurr of Bedford and Harvey Spurr of Franklin; three sisters, Della West and Savannah Jones, both of Indianapolis, and Allene Louden of New Castle, Ky.; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; three sisters, Velma Keith, Gladys Aldridge and an infant sister; and one grandson.
Services will be at 10 a.m. EDT Thursday at the Ransdell Funeral Home in Bedford, with burial in the Bedford IOOF Cemetery.
Friends may call after 5 p.m. EDT today, and from 8 a.m. EDT until time of the service Thursday, at the funeral home.
