It is believed that Albert might have been the son of John Bee, of England. John like many younger sons, would never inherit money or land from his father, came seeking opportunity. John arrived in the United States with a wife, son, and daughter in May of 1832. If this is so, Albert, had at least 2 brothers, George and Charles, also living in Pike County, Indiana, at his death.
When Albert was 21 he married Ann, believed to be Anna Thomas. They were blessed with two children:
Joshua G. Bee (1857-1918)
Carrie Bee (1859-1949)
Then Albert died. It could have been any number of things during that period of history. George, his unmarried older brother, took the family in and raised Albert's children as his own.
