He was survived by his wife, Theresa, sons Charles, Jr, and Michael (in Hungary), George, Frank and Eugene; daughter, Joan Mayer, daughter in law, Patricia, brother, Wendell and sister in law, Ann in Hungary; sister, Veronica Ruttner, in Germany; 6 grandchildren, and 3 great grandchildren.
The funeral was held at Christ the King Catholic Church in Columbus, OH, where Mr. Mayer was a member.
