Survived by his wife of eight years, Janice Hebert Altazan; three stepdaughters, Sallye Marchand Troxclair, Susan Marchand Grissom and Jill Marchand Brown; two stepsons, Lonnie and Randal Marchand; four brothers, Ferdinand, Leon, Emerson and Elward Altazan; several step-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and devoted friends, L.J. LeBlanc and Jay Rumfola.
Preceded in death by first wife, Mabel Rebelle Altazan; parents, Louis and Aline Seguin Altazan; sister, Lois Altazan Stirling; and three brothers, Ernest, Elmo and Norman Altazan.
He was a member of Port Allen Moose Lodge and American Legion Post 160.
