Billy Don Ritter, 63, of Bokoshe, died Friday, Dec. 15, 2000, in Poteau. He was born April 16, 1937 in Bokoshe. He was retired from Whirlpool Corp. after 28 years.
Survivors include five daughters, Ann Fugate of Spiro, Patsy Ritter of Bokoshe, Phyllis McClure of Bokoshe, Sherry Benefield of Howe, and Terry Tiffee of Shady Point; one son, Billy Ritter of Bokoshe; one step-daughter, Lisa Moody of Cameron; four sisters, Wanda Harrison and Betty Brewer, both of Bokoshe, Yvonne Forester of Spiro, and Evonne Kelly of Pocola; three brothers, Roy Ritter of Panama, James Ritter of Bokoshe, and James Dean Ritter of Spiro; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight step grandchildren; and four great-step-grandchildren
Graveside services were at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18 in Old Bokoshe Cemetery with the Rev. Danny Oliver officiating. Burial followed under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home of Poteau.
