Gloria R. Teeple, 82, of Port Huron, died Saturday, June 28, 2008.
She was born March 22, 1926 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Charles and Emma Wachter. She married Dr. DuWayne A. "Doc" Teeple on April 28, 1950 in Chicago. He died March 21, 2001.
Mrs. Teeple was employed with MSU Cooperative Extension and Equitable Insurance. For many years she was involved in Girl Scouts and the 4-H Fair.
She is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Bradford and Patricia Teeple of Port Huron; daughter, Pamela MacDonald and fiance Joe Joseph of Genesee County; grandchildren, Brandon and Amanda of Port Huron, Samantha of Marysville and Bill and Rosaura of London, Ontario; and a brother, Thomas Wachter of Mesa, Arizona and his family.
She was also preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy and a son, Gary.
A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday in Pollock-Randall Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Donald R. Doerzbacher will officiate.
