Allie Irvin, the daughter of the late Manuel and Polly (Wooldridge) Whiteside, was born December 15, 1889 in Mammoth Spring, AR, and departed this life August 17, 1975, in the Independence Medical Center, Independence, MO, at the age of 85 years.
She was united in marriage to Wilber Irvin, who preceded her in death in 1942.
She is survived by one daughter, Iva Martin of Oak Grove, MO, one son, Bert L. Irvin of Springfield, MO, two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was a Baptist.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, August 20 at the Carter Chapel with Rev. Ben Meeks officiating. Interment was in Moten Cemetery under the direction of Carter Funeral Home of Thayer.
