Mrs. Winnie W. Potts, 78, Elkmont, died at 12:10 a.m. Sunday at the Athens-Limestone Hospital.
Funeral rites were at 11 a.m. Monday at McConnell Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. David Nelson and Rev. Harrison McMains officiated; burial was in the Athens City Cemetery.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Marvin Coffman, Elkmont, and a granddaughter, Mrs. John Poteete Jr., Tuscaloosa.
Pallbearers were H. Coffman, Glenn Holland, J. T. Coffman, Buddy Gilbert, George Gray and Fred Gray Jr.
Husband: William Clay Potts. He preceded her in death on January 20, 1935.
Parents: Dr. Milton Fillmore Westmoreland and Mattie Redus Westmoreland.
