ELMA SMITH BRUMFIELD, age 90
a resident of Franklinton and a longtime resident of Baton Rouge died at 10:30 AM Thursday at her residence. She was a member of Clifton Baptist Church and the widow of Willie Jones Brumfield.

Survived by: 2 daughters and sons in law: Peggy Marie and James Lee Coarsey of Clinton Sue and Gary G. Johnson of Greensburg 3 sons and daughters in law: Ronald Jones and Mercer Brumfield of Franklinton Doye Gregory and Alicia Marie Brumfield of Baton Rouge Mark Keith and Regina R. Brumfield of Greensburg 2 Sisters: Georgia Smith Jones of Los Angeles Bertie Smith Avants of Baton Rouge 15 Grandchildren 27 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren

Visitation at Crain Funeral Home on Friday, May 30, 2008 from 5 PM until 9 PM and after 8:30 AM Saturday until time for the funeral service at 10 AM in the chapel with Rev. Tony Hicks officiating. Burial in the Hays Creek Church Cemetery.
