EVELYN ABRAMS Passed away in Alameda on January 30, 2003 at the age of 86. Beloved wife of Louis "Lou" Abrams of Alameda and the late Sol A. Segal. Loving mother of Jackie St, John and her husband Mike of So. Carolina, Pam MacDonald and her husband Dan of Alameda, Rick Segal of Alameda. Step Mother of Joyce Salinas and her late husband John of Alameda and Mel Abrams and his wife Kate of Fremont. Grandmother of David and Eric Colley, Christopher St, John, Jennifer Riddlebaugh, Tracy and Drew MacDonald, Scott Salinas, Shannon Wolter and Stacey Paquette. Great Grandmother of 6 great grandchildren. Sister of the late Ester Farkas. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Evelyn was born on October 28, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois and was a long time resident of Alameda. She sang for many years with a group from the Marina Community Center in San Leandro. She loved to play the Piano and was very proud of her abilities. Evelyn loved landscaping and gardening. Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services Sunday February 2, 2003 at 2:00 pm at the Home of Eternity Cemetery, End of Piedmont Ave., Oakland. Entombment Home of Eternity Cemetery.
