Mamie J. Ahlbrand, 86, of Miller's Merry Manor, died at 5:37 a.m. Friday, Feb. 7, 1992, at Bartholomew County Hospital.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church and the Philathian class of the church.
Service will be conducted by Myers Funeral Service at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the Reed and Jewell Chapel, with the Rev. Allan K. Wilson officiating. Calling will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church or the American Diabetes Association.
Born June 18, 1905, in Brown County, she was the daughter of James and Dollie Wert Roush. She married Martin H. Ahlbrand May 26, 1923. He died April 7, 1957.
Surviving are sons Martin Junior Ahlbrand and David L. Ahlbrand of Columbus, John E. Ahlbrand of Merrick, New York, and Ray A. Ahlbrand of Indianapolis; daughter Mary June Akin of Las Vegas, Nev.; sister Estella Seers of Indianapolis; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
