Mrs. Janeth E. Herron Rivenburgh, 76, of Grosvenor Corners, died Sunday at Bassett Hospital in Cooperstown after a short illness. Born in Schenectady, the daughter of Ralph Herron and Helen Fellow Herron, Mrs. Rivenburgh was a 1940 graduate of Sharon Springs High School. She was a sales clerk for the Jamesway store in Cobleskill, retiring in 1981. Mrs. Rivenburgh was a member of the Grosvenor Corners United Methodist Church. Her husband, Louis A. Rivenburgh, died in 1981. Mrs. Rivenburgh was predeceased by her siblings, Franklyn Herron, Charles Herron and Madelyn Herron Bernstein Azer. Survivors include two sons, Dennis L. Rivenburgh of Endicott and Paul L. Rivenburgh of Guilderland; a sister, Joyce Yerdon of Palatine Bridge; and two grandchildren. Burial will be in Fort Plain Cemetery.
