Thomas Kent Taylor passed away Saturday, June 7, 2008, in Colleyville.
Celebration of life: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel. Burial: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Kent was born in Fort Worth to Mildred and Joseph W. Taylor in 1944. He was a very devoted husband, father and exceptional grandfather. He really enjoyed his six grandchildren. He loved to fish and enjoyed watching others catch fish as much as he enjoyed catching fish himself.
Kent established and ran a consumer electronics business for 33 years. Some of his employees thought so much of him that even when they changed jobs they still came back to see him and others in the company.
He was a father figure to many and inspired even more. Some have said that he was responsible for turning them from a destructive life. As a Christian we know that we will be with him again.
Survivors: Wife of 45 years, Viriginia Taylor; daughter, Sheri and husband, Chuck Beasley; son, Jason and wife, Kelly Taylor; grandchildren, Steven George, Chuckie Beasley, Kyle Beasley, Carlee Taylor, Cameron Beasley and Keaton Taylor; brothers, Joe R. and wife, Pasty Taylor, Bob B. Taylor, David L. Taylor; sister, Polly Anne Culbreth; numerous other family members; and wonderful friends.
