She was married to Joseph Warren Briggs, Jr. on June 4,1916 in Taloga, Dewey Co, Okla. To this union were born seven children Joseph Ervin, Alice Jaunita, George James, Rosa Mae, John Wilson, Leland Austin, and Joseph Warren III.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and six brothers, two sons, George James and Joseph Warren III.
