Funeral services for George Hubert Stroud and Mrs. Dell Elizabeth Rogers Stroud of Gapway Street will take place at 4 p.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church of Mullins. The Revs. Lewis McCormick, Earl and Hill and E. J. Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Dale Cemetery directed by Cox Collins Funeral Home. (sentence omitted here). Mr. Stroud was born in Horry County, a son of the late Zander Stroud and Mrs. Mattie Willoughby Stroud. He is survived by two sons, two daughters of Nichols; three sisters and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Stroud was born in Marion County, a daughter of Herbert C. Rogers and the late Mrs. Fannie Blanche Harrelson Rogers. She is survived by her father and stepmother; two sons, two daughters, seven sisters, two brothers.
