GUNNAR JUNIOR ANDERSON Long time San Jacinto and San Pedro resident, Gunnar Junior Anderson, 83, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008. He was born November 16, 1924 in San Pedro, CA and lived in the San Jacinto Valley for the past 21 years. Before retirement he was a Foreman in the Longshoreman Industry for over 40 years. He was an avid golfer and former member of the Soboba Springs Country Club in San Jacinto and member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008 at 11:00am at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Hemet, with a reception following. Funeral Services will also be held on Tuesday, June 3, 2008 at 11:00am at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, Rancho Palos Verdes, CA with interment following. The Rev. Jim Hallmann will be officiating at both services. He leaves his wife of 62 years, Valerie Anderson of San Jacinto; daughter, Jody Valerie Brenden of Hemet; sons, Gunnar Max Anderson and his wife, Marcy of San Pedro and Kristian Thomas Anderson of San Pedro; grandchildren, Ginger Anderson, Tami and husband Steven Hebert of San Pedro and Brigitte Anderson; great-grandchildren, Kylie Hebert and Jacob Hebert; nephew, James Folks; many close and dear friends. Services entrusted to the care of Matthew McWane
