Wasilla resident Anna L.R. Smith, 60, died April 25, 1995, at home in Weston, W. Va. A funeral was held at Wasilla Bible Church with a viewing. Interment services were held at Aurora Cemetery in Wasilla.
Mrs. Smith was born June 9, 1934, in Weston. She came to Alaska in 1959 with her husband. She taught in Valley schools for 28 years. Her family said: "She loved Alaska and the fishing and traveling in the RV. She had many friends and was always helping others. She especially enjoyed working with children." Mrs. Smith was active in the Wasilla Bible Church. She also enjoyed crafts and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Delbert "Bud" of Wasilla; and brother, Charles Radabaugh of Warsaw, Ohio. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the Wasilla Bible Church, 1701 Lucille St., Wasilla 99687. Arrangements were handled by Kehl's Palmer Mortuary.
