Calvin Brooks (1851-1927) was the son of Calvin Brooks and Maria Jervis Brooks of North Hempstead, NY. He married Hannah Knight, and they had five children (Henry, Annie, William, Olive, and Mabel Brooks). He lived to 75. In his retirement, he lived with his daughter, Mabel, and her husband, Emil H. Botsch.
