Mrs. Janeau was born in Opelousas, LA and has lived in Westwego, Louisiana for the past 45 years. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She cleaned houses for many years in the Westwego, Louisiana area. She loved her children and especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by one son John Floyd Janeau and his wife Arlanda of Westwego, Louisiana, one daughter Barbara Jean Grace and her husband Jerry of Clarksridge, Arkansas, six grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, and six great great grandchildren, three godchildren: Sylvia Morel, Mary Alice Mainer and Joseph Vernon Lantia.
Mrs. Janeau is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Janeau, one son Lawrence Garry Janeau, four brothers: Floyd, Johnny, Clifford, Ferdinand David, one sister Isabel Lantia, and one grandson John Ray Janeau.
Her funeral was held on Thursday, May 15, 2008 at 3:30 PM at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Dan Landry officiated. Burial followed in Highland Memory Gardens.
