Pearl Adams, 97, of Monticello died April 23, 1990 at Greenbrier Nursing Center, Champaign. Graveside services were held April 25 in Monticello Cemetery.
Mrs. Adams was born January 16, 1893 in Pulaski County KY, a d/o Robert and Permilia Stringer Sumner. Survivors include two daughters-in-law: Hazel Adams, Monticello; and Cleo Adams, Abilene TX; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by five sons; two great-grandsons, four sisters and three brothers.
Mrs. Adams was a homemaker. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church of Monticello. Memorials may be made to the building fund of Bible Baptist Church, Champaign.
