Granger – Willard George Bawden, 81, 4029 W 3500 South, died March 7, 1968, 12:30 AM in a Granger hospital of natural causes.
Born, Jan. 2, 1887, Granger, a son of John Howard and Alice Jane Freestone Bawden. Married Annie Elizabeth Wallace April 20, 1910, Salt Lake Temple, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Served Northern States Mission 1925-26. Employee, Salt Lake Roads and Bridges Department, 18 years; Salt Lake County auditor's office 12 years. Democratic district chairman 20 years. President Monroe School PTA, six years. Sunday School teacher. President 14th Quorum of Seventies 20 years. President: high priests quorum, North Jordan Stake.
Survivors: widow, sons, daughters, W. Wallace, Granger; Reuel J., San Jose, Calif., John Lund, Provo; Mrs. Franklin R. (Alice) Barney, Safford, Ariz; Mrs. B. E.
