He married Gladys L. Bird Feb 20, 1922 at Omaha, Neb. They moved to Sioux City in 1924 where he was a fireman with Armour & Co. for 35 years. He retired in 1964. He was a member and former trustee of the Third Presbyterian Church. Surviors include the widow: a sister, Mrs. Harriet Taylor of Canton, S.D.; three brother, Everett and Bud both of South Sioux CIty and Harold of Baldwin Park, Califor. The body was taken to the Nelson Berger Funeral Home in Morningside.
