She married Everett Estes Dec. 11, 1911, in Pulaski County. He preceded her in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lavena Diamond, Rt. 3 Eubank, and Mrs. Laverne Shell, Rt. 2 Eubank; two grand-children, Bill Shell and Janet Diamond Hines; and three great-grandchildren.
She was a housewife and member of Eubank Baptist Church.
Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 15, at Barnett Funeral Home, Waynesburg, with Rev. Grady Baskin officiating. Burial was in Eubank Cemetery.
Cousin Wanda Fisher's memory of Mommaw:
"Mommaw Estes was the nicest lady. She always made biscuits and gravy for us when we stayed overnight. She mixed them up at night and just added the buttermilk in the morning. I remember her making them just like yesterday, always smiling or laughing."
