Ruth Helen Ehlman, 89, formerly of Ickesburg RR 1, died Monday, Aug. 18, 2003 at the Church of God Home, Carlisle.
She was born May 26, 1914 in Illinois to the late Charles and Sara Jane (Minnich) Messimer.
She was a member of Liberty Valley Church.
She was the widow of Jesse L. Ehlman, who died Aug. 27, 1991.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence H. of Enola; two daughters, Helen Jane Lindsay of Plainfield and Ruthanna Olenowski of Highspire; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Jesse and Lewis Messimer, and a sister, Olive Conrad.
Services were held Aug. 22 in Henry Funeral Home, Honey Grove, with pastor Marlin Stahl officiating. Burial was in Buffalo Cemetery, Saville.
