Della Mae Norris, 83, of Crossville, passed away March 13, 2001. Funeral services will be conducted today, March 16, at 10 a.m. from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Linary Cemetery. Bro. Arlon Way will officiate, with special music by Leo Brown.
Mrs. Norris was born Nov. 25, 1917, in Bledsoe County, the daughter of Beecher and Della Marie Swafford Tollett.
She was a teacher's aide, and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters, Anna Norris of Fort Walton, FL, and Rita Brown of Chattanooga, TN; sons, Walter Norris Jr. of Crossville and Wes Norris of Chattanooga; brother, Phil Tollett of Crossville; sisters, Louise Driver of Crossville, Ruth McIe of Grafton, OH, and Patsy York of Richmond, KY; grandchildren, Marcia Wisdom Conley, Barbara Wisdom Clouse, Jaye Norris, Charlotte Gaston and Contesa Wood; and great-grandchildren, Avery Conley III, Harley Michael Conley and Alycia Mae Gaston.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Beecher and Della Marie Tollett; sister, Cecil Tollett; and brothers, Hubert Tollett, Otis Tollett, Frank Tollett and Arnold Tollett.
Pallbearers were Ronnie Pugh, Gary Guy, Bill Foland, Jaye Norris and Randall Tollett.
