Retired Pastor Dies — The Rev. John A. Fetzer, 74, a retired minister of the United Methodist Church who was a resident of the Meadville United Methodist Church Home, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 1983, in Meadville City Hospital. Born July 12, 1909, in Monroe Township, she was a son of the late John A. Sr. and Mary E. Over Fetzer. He was married June 21, 1939, to the former Dorothy L. McCullough, who died June 2, 1963. Rev. Fetzer was an ordained minister for the Western New York Conference of hte United Methodist Church. He served a pastorate in the Jamestown, N.Y. area. For his final years of ministry, he transferred to Pennsylvania, where he served the United Methodist Churches of Conneaut Lake, North East, and New Wilmington. Surviving are one brother, William K. Fetzer of Reidsburg, and a number of nieces and nephews. One sister, Mrs. Helen Neely preceded him in death. A memorial service was at 10:30 a.m., Tuesday (today) in the chapel of the Meadville United Methodist Home and Hospital with the Rev. Lynn A. Shindledecker, chaplain, officiating. Graveside services for the cremains were at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, at the Reidsburg Cemetery. The Rev. Glen Irvin of the First United Church in New Bethlehem officiated. The Wayne E. Fetzer Sr. and Mary E. Over Fetzer,   He was married June 21, 1939, to the former Dorothy L. McCullough. She preceded him in death June 2, 1963. Rev.
