Joseph Urick, aged 69, and Mrs. Sarah Jane Newport, aged 70, were married at Decatur Friday night. Just 12 hours prior to the nuptial event the bride was divorced from her former husband, who had deserted her. The bridegroom in the present marriage was in court with her assising her in securing her decree and paid the costs of the action. They will live in Dunkirk.

Mrs. Jane Urick, aged 80, widow of Joseph Urick, died Friday morning at her home at Dunkirk Indiana.
The remains arrived at Monroe Saturday afternoon, where the funeral took place. Mrs. Urick spent most of her life in the vicinity of Monroe.
She was first married to Alexander Brandyberry. He died many years ago. She was then married to ? Newport (see above). She was then united in marriage with Joseph Urick. They moved to Dunkirk, where the husband passed away only a few months ago.
She is survived by a number of children, the fruits of her first marriage: William Brandyberry, Mathias Brandyberry, Mrs. David Springer of Decatur, and John Brandyberry of Jonesboro Ark, Mrs. Elmer Uhrich, and Mrs. Otto Uhrich of Dunkirk are the surviving children. A brother, Bazzel Everhart, resides at Monroe. Mrs. Uhrich became sick only on last Thursday and was found dead in bed at 6 o'clock in the morning.
