GEORGE H. MUIR, 91, died at his home in Salt Lake City [Utah] 12 Dec 1956. Born 10 Oct 1865 in Salt Lake City a son of Wm. S. and Lucy Drake Muir. He married Olive Atkinson 24 March 1887 in Bountiful, Utah; later the marriage was solemnized in S.L. Temple. His wife preceeded (sic) him in death 1936. He then married Ada Sternberg 1 Feb 1942. He was the father of 5 boy (sic) and one girl. Surviving – his wife, three sons George Jr., Hazen and J. B. Muir, one brother, Leo J. Muir. Funeral services held in S.L.C. Dec. 14, 1956. Additional services 15 Dec 1956 in Soda Springs. Burial in Fairview Cemetery in Soda Springs.
