Clinton Ellis Washburn -
Gouverneur - July 30 - The remains of Clinton Ellis Washburn, aged 35, whose death occurred in Utica, Thursday, were brought here today. The funeral will be held Sunday at 2:30pm from the home of his aunt, Mrs. John L. Balwin of John Street. Rev. H. C. Campbell, pastor of the Methodist church, will officiate and burial will be made in Riverside Cemetery.
Mr. Washburn was born at Sterlingsbush, Lewis County, his parents being Alvin and the late Mrs. Jennie Hyde Washburn, the father now being a resident of Evans Mills. He resided the greater part of his life near Evans Mills, but had made his home for the past six years at Utica.
The survivors are the widow Mrs. Edna Green Washburn; a daughter Eileen, both of Utica; the father of Evans Mills; a brother Roy at Evans Mills; two sisters, Nina of Evans Mills and Mrs. Mark Kennedy of Oneida.
